Testometric machines are used throughout the garment industry for evaluation of elastic properties and determining comfort standards for stretch and narrow fabrics, elastic lace etc.
Software is available with pre defined test method that control the test and give all relevant calculations such as extension modulus, elastic modulus and residual extension to all international and stores group standards.
Stretch and narrow fabrics.
Cyclic tests are conducted using ACPN 4 pneumatic grips fitted with line contact faces.
Elastic Loop.
Loops of elastic are subjected to cyclic test using special precision loop grips which are available to ASTM, ISO, BS and other international standards.
Elastic Yarn.
Elastic yarn is tested for its strength and elongation properties using either capstan or straight clamp pneumatic grips.
